Lou has had the opportunity to work alongside some exemplary set designers at the beginning of his career. Their influence and support allowed him to harness his craft and carve a niche in the set and production design industry. As a result, Lou has acquired a multitude of skills that can support any production.
In 2004, Lou launched 11th Street Workshop, a one-stop design and fabrication shop. Eight years later, 11th Street Workshop is a staple in the production and design industry as a highly reputable set shop that services hundreds of clients yearly.
Over a decade working in the production and design industry; Lou has collaborated with some of the most prolific photographers in the world including: Norman Jean Roy, Greg Kadel, Steven Klein, Annie Leibowitz, Peter Lindbergh, and Steven Meisel.
His editorial work include: American Vogue, Italian Vogue, German Vogue, Russian Vogue, Numero, V Magazine, Interview, Elle, and countless of other magazines. His clients include BMW, Prada, Longchamp, Hermes, BCBG, H&M, David Yurman, Victoria’s Secret, Tumi, and Pennyblack.
Lou has also taken his art direction talent into music videos, commercials, and fashion events.
Lou is a lifelong resident of New York City.
