American born Chadwick Tyler is a singular talent. His powerfully evocative images are unmistakeable for their representation of women. At the forefront of a new movement in aesthetics, Tyler’s photography challenges contemporary notions of beauty by celebrating innocence and vulnerability.
Tyler became known in the art world for his seminal gallery show Tiberius, whose haunting portraits depict 55 young women, each as their own wistful spirit.
Tyler has recently turned some of his attention to fashion, having shot Levi’s® Iconic 501 campaign with creative director Mark Reddy (BBH London). His work has also been featured in Vogue (Turkey), Another, GREY, Dazed and Confused, Last Magazine, W Magazine and V. Advertising clients include Alexander Wang, Levi's, Marc Jacobs, Free People, BBH, Joe's Jeans, Bershka, Blueprint and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Currently Tyler is currently working on two books, and a new gallery show. He resides in New York.
