David Rinella, a native of Portland, Oregon, is a contemporary still life photographer who resides and works in New York - although his inspiration and favorite muse is that of nature found miles outside of the city he calls home.  

Through David’s lens the viewer is forced to see the larger than life, grandiose, and often times epic nature of his subjects.  He sculpts with light, precision, and elegance in each composition. 

His editorial & commercial clients include W, GQ, Interview, Nylon, Kate Spade and more.   David is married to  Judith Puckett-Rinella (photo editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine) which means that photography is truly a shared family passion. Together they have two daughters who are without a doubt David’s true muses.
